Modeling

Modeling operations allow you to create 3D shapes just by drawing 2D freeform strokes on the screen. The system beautifies the polygonal mesh after each modeling operation, so please wait a while if you are using a slow machine. The system cannot represent shapes like the tip of a cone. If you want to design details, zoom in and draw.

You can create a new base model by drawing a closed stroke on a blank canvas.
You can delete a model by drawing a stroke starting at the model and ending at the trash bin.
You can add a child part by drawing a closed stroke on the existing model. You can rotate the child part, and also move it along the surface by dragging the small red center circle.
You can create a mirror copy of a child part by drawing a open stroke starting at the part and ending on the background.
You can cut a model by drawing a open stroke accross the existing model. Right hand side of the stroke remains. This operation can take time.
You can merge a child part to its parent by drawing a open stroke connecting the two. This operation can take time.
