Step 3: Misc (for heavy-users)


1) When you save a model, the system generates "*_painted.obj" and "*_painted.bmp" files. Other computer graphics softwares can load the painted models.
2) Chameleon cannot re-load already painted models (sorry) .
2) When you choose "Save Snapshot" in "File" menu, the system stores a 2D snapshot of the painted model as "*_snapshot.bmp" file.

3) You can paint details in zoomed-in view, but it increases the data size.
4) For better results, paint as much as possible before rotation.
Frequent paint-rotate-repaint cycle decreases the image quality eventually.
5) Edit "config.txt" to change some settings (this is usually not necessary).
